Heidi Rush, ASNP organizer and president, said: “Our goal is to raise £ 6,000 from the Shoreham Star Trail to continue our services through 2021 and beyond.

“We hope that the local community will support us wholeheartedly by getting involved. Over the next year, we are looking to expand our services to support more local families with children with special needs.

“Our last event in 2019 was a huge success and although the gaming program worked throughout the pandemic and in fact hosted more gaming sessions, we were unable to raise funds for the charity since March 2020.

“We hope that the return of the Shoreham Star Trail in 2021 will bring more happiness and smiles to local residents and families. Our characters, who are all volunteers, have gone above and beyond this year and we believe this year the event will be even better than ever. “
