Fact #1
  • Garett has dyslexia, which means he reads things backwards. He has compensated by developing a good memory, a common trait in dyslexics.

  • Garett was cast first as "Blair Sandburg" in "The Sentinel", and was screen tested with a number of actors before Richard Burgi was offered the job of "Jim Ellison". Supposedly, the chemistry was so good between the two of them, it was really no contest.

  • Garett aspires to direct someday. However, after having been exposed to what the directors of "The Sentinel" had to deal with, he's decided that "action" is one genre he has said he would try to avoid directing. It has also been suggested to him that he should try writing, but due to his dyslexia he is hesitant to do so but is still willing to consider it.
