# 8 GARETT MAGGART
For "The Sentinel" star Garett Maggart, offing serial bombers, international terrorists and other high-tech bad guys is all in a day's work. In the role of Blair Sandburg, the long-haired anthropology student, Maggart plays sidekick to the show's star, sensory-enhanced detective James Ellison (Richard Burgi). Now in its third season on UPN, the series offers plenty of car chases, explosions, stunts and special effects to satisfy even the most jaded member of the VCR generation. For Maggart, whose first role was an uncreditied part in 1982's "The World According to Garp," working on the series has been a career-making vehicle: Websites devoted to the show, replete with fan fiction, abound on the Internet. |
