"Providential Occurrence" performed

Garett's recent stage reading at The Fountain Theatre on October 13th went well and positive responses to the work are rolling in.  

This closed performance, staging only for producers, directors and casting agents was actually a two act play (inspired by the Amistad incident) with additional co-lead performances by:  Carmen Argenziano, Bari Hochwald, Matt Carmody, Duke Stroud, Jacob Witkin, Bernadette Speaks, Charles Parks, John Wesley and Ron Lawrence.  This original work was written by Jodie Lewis, Co-Author Producer 'A Providential Occurrence' and Henry G. Sanders.

"Providential Occurrence" 

Garett will be doing a stage reading at The Fountain Theatre on October 13th at 7:00 pm.  

This is a closed performance, staging only for producers, directors and casting agents. The play is a two-man act, revolving around the issue of slavery--similar to the Amistad case.

Garett is performing the lead role of an attorney.

"Demon Under Glass" film to screen

The International Press Association Vampire Film Series and Festival will be screening "Demon Under Glass" (Re-mastered final version) at it's Hollywood convention on September 27 & 28th at 6363 Sunset Boulevard at 8:00 pm.  

A portion of the proceeds go to aid the American Red Cross and anyone donating blood at the door will receive half off the ticket price.

Tickets are $7 in advance, $8 at the door per Program.
Vampire Ball $10 advance, $20 at the door.

Reminder: Please arrive 90 minutes before the Program if you want to participate in Blood Drive and to ensure that none of the programs are missed. Participants must partake in the Blood Drive before attending their screening to receive the discount. Blood Drive Participants receive special reserved seating. Tickets will be issued at the Venue after completing the Blood Drive.

Moonridge Fundraising total

According to the treasurer of the "Friends of Moonridge Animal Park", Garett and his fans helped raise:

$15,149.53

This total includes mail-in donations, Paypal donations, charity event auction, as well as a recent on-line fan auction.  Donations are still coming in and are still encouraged.

"Words of Love"

Garett will be performing a dramatic reading for a charity event at the Fremont Centre Theatre, Saturday July 26, 2003 at 7:00 pm. 
Dinner is served at 7:00 pm, followed by the dramatic reading of "Words of Love" at 8:00 pm, followed by a dessert buffet and music under the stars at the conclusion of the reading, (approximately 10 pm).  Tickets are $75.00 and may be purchased by phone.
Proceeds benefit the Fremont Centre Theatre.

Celebrity couples reading love poems, sketches, etc. Funny and touching! A recap of the 5th Anniversary Season and lots and lots of food.  A silent auction will also take place at the event.

*NOTE*  Penny Johnson from "24" is listed as a performer, she is NOT able to attend and is being replaced by an actress on "Passions", Eve Tamargo.

Charity Event Photos

First reports are estimating the totals for Saturday's Third Annual Charity Event at over $12,000. 
This total *will* increase from the addition of mail-in donations, paypal donations, additional auction totals and miscellaneous gifts and grants.  A final total will be forthcoming in the next few days.

 Moonridge Charity Event date re-confirmed.  The date is and will remain July 19, 2003.  Garett does plan to participate again this year, contingent on any unforeseen circumstances.  So make those travel plans now.
